Last month I purchased a couple of original sketchpages from UK artist/illustrator Rob Laro. I've been watching this guy's growth for the last couple of years and his works has always served as an inspiration to my ever-famished, artistic retinas.
The package was suppose to arrive a couple of weeks ago but due to my excitement I didn't notice that my home address was incomplete with my paypal account. What's bizarre is that it doesn't register my complete street address no matter how many times I edit it. I'll have to be cautious from now on.
So weeks passed, and I remained optimistic throughout. This morning I noticed a cardboard tube sitting on top of my mom's desk, and brought it up to my office:
And within it contained these lovely pieces:
Rob's works has always been fascinating. His current style reflects a very simple yet attractive approach to illustration. From his trademark painted borders, vibrant color palettes and sexy curves; his creations never disappoint.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I realized that he's also pretty diverse with 3D and knows way more than a lot of people give him credit for. He's currently working on something big and I'm very excited on what he's cooking within the confines of his workplace.
You can check out his works at:

Thanks again Rob! Now its time to buy some frames for these beauties.
LIFE REPORT!
Life's been very hectic lately. Nothing negative of the sort, its just keeping me productive and occupied. I'm terribly sorry for those who have been anticipating my next video. I'll have to prioritize and get that thing done.
I've got a bunchload of projects due in the next couple of months and it'll be something very new and different. Its so massive that I had to get a personal daytimer and set a daily, weekly and monthly schedule for myself just to keep up.
What is it? I can't tell you. You'll just have to wait and see :D

SkullgirlS Dev Blog
Our new dev blog is finally online! Many thanks to John Walsh and Shawn Coty for putting this together.
We've stumbled across a couple of obstacles on the way when we started developing the new site, ranging from life obstacles to annoying malicious codes that infected our test blog. In the end, we persevered and kept things consistent. I'm very grateful for having a lot of gifted people taking time off in helping us fulfill our dreams, for they too are now a part of it.
We still have a long way to go with the game's development. We've had tremendous hurdles in the past, but all of those have propelled us to where we are now. We're still developing the game during our free time while juggling with our day jobs, but rest assured that the day will come, and we'll be bringing forth a fighting game that no one has ever seen before.
I'm currently working on a few other projects on the side. Stay tuned in the next couple of months.
